Ed Landreth Hall, in which
we regularly
produce shows, offering an exciting variety of production
opportunities for students and audiences.

| JERITA
FOLEY BUSCHMAN THEATRE
This intimate, 220-seat proscenium theatre opened when
Ed Landreth Hall was first opened, in 1949, when
it
was originally named The Little Theatre.

MARLENE AND SPENCER HAYS THEATRE
The Marlene and Spencer Hays Theatre is a beautiful 200-seat
thrust theatre located in the Mary D and Howard F.
Walsh
Center, a fine arts addition to Ed Landreth Hall, which
opened in 1997.

STUDIO THEATRE
When the Walsh Center opened in 1997, it included a new
Scenic Studio. So, in 2001, TCU reconfigured its former
scene shop space into the Studio Theatre, a flexible open
stage performance space.

OTHER PERFORMANCE VENUES
Theatre TCU occasionally produces shows in a variety
of other venues, including Ed Landreth Auditorium,
a large
proscenium space which seats 1,200, and the William Edrington
Scott Theatre, a 500 seat thrust theatre in Fort Worth’s
cultural district.

PRODUCTION STUDIOS
TCU boasts a large Scenic Studio in the Walsh Center,
completed in 1997.
TCU’s Costume Studio is located in the Ballet
Building, and features many professional machines,
including both domestic and industrial sewing machines,
steamers, and industrial irons.
